A dark, chunky wine. Juan Gil Monastrell is full of blackberry and plum fruit with hints of vanilla spice and coffee. The palate is warm and rich with layers of lush spicy plum and cherry fruit, with an overlying atractive perfume. Rich, sweet tannins and a touch of chocolate on the finish. An absolute corker of a wine, great value for money.
