Peter’s selection of Shiraz for the very first wine released under the Peter Lehmann label and sold by mail order as Futures, reflected his belief that Barossa Shiraz was a unique Australian wine style that would become an international success story.
A deep centre with a vibrant red rim. The bouquet has all the classic Barossa Shiraz chocolate and dark plum characters with hints of vanillin French oak notes. A wine with a richness of soft, velvet, mouth-filling fruit which is beautifully balanced by the firm tannins and well-integrated oak. A great expression of Barossa Shiraz!
