Deep brick red with flashes of violet. Varietal bouquet characters of ripe cherries, blackcurrant and plummy berry fruits, interwoven with smoky, cigar and toasty oak nuances. The palate has enticing ripe black cherry, rich fruit sweetness and herbal characters. These are accompanied by persistent chocolate, mocha, cigar box oak influences. The tannins are fine and persistent in length. Great with Pizza!
