The dA limoux Chardonnay Mauzac from Domaine Astruc is aged in oak barrels, one third new oak and two thirds old oak giving a gold colour with an intense and complex nose of brioche, nut and pineapple, together with lime-tree and quince aromas. It is light but full bodied with incredible richness and remarkable length in the mouth. This wine has character and can be drunk anytime or is ideal with seafood goats cheese and foie gras.
