Its one of those rare wines that drinks well in its youth as well as with a year or two of bottle age. It has lovely dashes of spice and vanilla pod that mix nicely with the autumnal fruits. Albet i Noyam Lignum is aged in American oak barrels for six months and subsequently aged in the bottle for six months prior to release. The grapes for this wine are from the highlands of the region, the result of a selection of old Garnatxa, Carinyena and Cabernet Sauvignon vines, found in dry soils over 350m above sea level. This wine can be enjoyed straight away, although it will evolve favourably in the coming years if stored.
