Delivery & Terms
We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is under the age of 18. By placing and order via our website you are confirming that you are at least 18 years of age.
We do not guarantee availability of all items on our website. In the unlikely event that a product is unavailable when you place your order, we shall contact you to either select a suitable replacement, or another acceptable arrangement for the completion of your order.
We reserve the right not to accept any order.
All our prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT).
We guarantee delivery within seven working days of your order. If you have not received your delivery within 7 working days please contact us at email@example.com.
Delivery is £10 for mainland UK addresses; the following post codes are charged at £20 delivery, PA, PH, AB, IV, KW.
Delivery to Isle of Wight (postcodes PO30-PO41) is charged at £25, irrespective of order amount.
Contact us for deliveries to Islands and Northern Ireland.
Orders over £175 are delivered free of charge to mainland addresses. Charges to other postcodes for orders over £175.00 by agreement.
This does not apply to out of stock items. If a product is unavailable we shall contact you and either arrange a new delivery date or agree on a suitable replacement.
Delivery is by APC Couriers, who will require a signature for the delivery. We cannot leave it in a shed or garage unless specific instructions are given at the time of ordering. We can arrange for delivery to a different address from the card holder if this is more convenient for a signature, for example your place of work.
We shall not be liable for any delay in delivering your wine if that delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our control such as, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, fire, flood, storm or Act of God, failure of ISP or telecommunications provider in connection with the performance of this Agreement. Orders placed before December 18th will be delivered before Christmas Day, however any orders placed after are not guaranteed to be delivered before.
Returns, cancellations and refunds
You may cancel your order at any time before dispatch and up to 7 days following dispatch. To cancel your order please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Should you decide to cancel your order; all charges will be refunded to your card as soon as the goods are returned to us in a merchantable condition and in the original box that you received the goods.
Once the goods have been received and checked all refunds will be made within 30 days.
All returns, either due to breakage or cancellation of order, shall be arranged by a carrier of Cheers Wine Merchants choice and the cost will be borne by us in the case of breakages and the customer if they decide to cancel the order after delivery.
Breakages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
The returns and cancellations policies above listed do not affect your statutory rights.
Credit and Debit Cards
All card payments are handled by Secure Trading via a secured web link.
We accept payment from all major cards, Visa, Amex, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB and Debit cards.
All data is collected lawfully and maintained in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
All data held will not be passed on to any third party except for delivery purposes.
Occasionally, Cheers Wine Merchants will e-mail you information about promotions, discounts, special offers and other wine related information. If you do not wish to receive any information please tick the box at the bottom of the order form.
