The “Chateau de Lussac” was founded in 1876. It has been the property of Mrs. G. Laviale – Van Malderen and her husband Hervé since the 2000 vintage. The vineyard and the vinification equipment have been rebuilt and “Chateau de Lussac” today produces one of the best Saint-Emilion wines on a clayey and clay and limestone soil.
The le Blanc is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris which is fermented in oak barrels and then aged on the lees in french oak for six months. Resulting in a beautifully textured wine with aromas of ripe grapefruit and peach. The palate is rich and full with plenty of white peach, apricot and grapefruit. Finely balanced acidity makes this perfect for drinking now.
