United KingdomFull disclosure - I love this wine and it is one of my favourites. On the nose: dark fruit dominates with oak and spice. To taste: Blackberry/blackcurrant runs through this from start to finish but there's a lot more to it than dark fruit. There's a hint of strawberry and it almost feels light, smokey overtones, lightly spiced and a hint of milk chocolate... all with a nice long finish. It's also super smooth with tannins and acidity superbly balanced. Just delicious. Top tip: open in advance and bring to what I call 'spanish room temperature' and then enjoy - a great way to start an evening.
