The nose is dominated by aromas of fresh menthol and citrus, followed by lime tree and mineral notes. We find the same on the palate, where there is freshness and elegance. There is good balance in this wine; the richness conferred by the old vines accords well with the refreshing character. In the finish there is a pleasant lingering taste of lime and grapefruit, augmented by vanilla. A Chablis with personality – just as it should be.
