Ratings & Awards,
The Vineyard
Manual harvest. Aged for six months in cement tanks to retain primary fruit flavour.
Matias is an enthusiastic young winemaker leading his family wine business in its
third generation. Founded in 1950 by Lebanese immigrants, who bought a
Vineyard with vines planted 70 years prior. The focus pre-Matias was the
production of bulk wine for the booming domestic market, where consumption
quadrupled. Matias made it his personal mission to produce exceptional quality
wines; using old Pergola trained vines, restoring the 100-year-old winery and
refurbishing and dividing old concrete tanks for small batch production. The Vineyard’s are located in East Mendoza, with altitudes ranging from 600-1,100
metres above sea level
