This wine comes from low yielding, organically tended vines on a south facing limestone hillside. Aged half in cuvee and half in 3-5 year old barrels it has ripe fruit, nicely cosseted by a refreshing saline quality emanating from limestone.
Great value red wine from the Côtes de Bordeaux. This Merlot-forward blend shows elegant florals, redcurrants and blackberries with a fine seam of limestone minerality running through.
